Well we are now done filming in Australia, Ben is back home on the sunshine coast, Elliot is now back on Maui, Moe is in Holland, Tobias is on Oahu. Check back soon, as the next trip is in the works.

We are now back in WA chasing wind and swell. We are down to our last few days of shooting and are hoping the conditions will cooperate. Jeff has left back to Hawaii now as well as Moe. Hopefully the wind will materialize!

We are now back on the sunshine coast. There has not been much wind over here, but we did score a pretty epic day of towing outer Lennox Head at a place called Boulders. Thanks to Ben’s friend Jeremy, we ended up with two four stroke Yamahas towing solid 10-12ft right handers. Everyone got thier fair share of bombs after 4 straight hours of waves we were all pretty stoked. We checked out the contest which was in town (Australian Waveriding Nationals) and unfortunately they only had one rideable day to pull the contest off. Having no wind and feeling extremely frustrated, Jeff went and bought a van and has been driving around eastern Australia solving peoples problems.

We scored the Zoo pretty sick the last two days. The first day was pretty good size, triple over head on the sets, with bombing thick exploding barrels all over place. Ben, Moe, Tobias, and Dano all rode and got some solid ones. At the end of the day Moe lost his kite in the seaweed and Dano desroyed his 10 in the shorebreak but everyone survived. The second day was a bit smaller but everyone one took beatings trying to either pull in or smack the lip on the closeouts. Needless to say the footage is nutzzzzzzzz! Well we just emerged from the fly infested dustbowl desert outback of Western Australia. We have been riding at a left hand point break called Gnaraloo. We scored a couple of days of swell and wind and are headed now to Margaret River for more filming. More updates and photos will follow of our sessions once we are situated in Margaret River.

The last few days have seen no wind, but nice head to shoulder high surf. We have decided to wait it out for another expected wind and swell episode on the sunshine coast before we commit to our WA trip. Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
